Is your marriage and family in need of improvement? There is hope and help for every hurting heart. The author gives simple and powerful hints in improving the marital relationship and building a stronger family. He presents the importance of a Christ-centered attitude, seven C's for a healthy relationship, and other techniques for improving and maintaining a healthy and lasting marriage. The road to a stronger family is under construction. We know that hands may build a house, but hearts filled with the love of Christ build a home. My prayer is that this small book will have a big impact on the family. Emanuel is a professional Christian counselor who believes that our problems are not bigger than God, but that God is bigger than our family problems. He has four Degrees, and is licensed by the State of Florida as a Clinical Social Worker. He is a Diplomat in Clinical Social Work, and is a chartered member of the American Association of Christian Counselors. He is now a full time servant of the Lord with a passionate love for the Lord, families, and precious souls. He has written the book "Resolving Family Conflicts - How to Prevent Breakdowns and Breakups." He has also written several articles, and conducted family seminars. When a Man Loves a Woman Widescreen on DVD Starring: Andy Garcia, Meg Ryan, Lauren Tom, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Tina Majorino A dramatic treatment of a family torn apart by alcoholism and recovering from it, this was a star vehicle for popular actress Meg Ryan, who plays Alice Green, a school counselor who has a serious drinking problem. Her husband is Michael (Andy Garcia), an airline pilot. Though she's lighthearted and loving, Alice is often reckless and, when drunk, even neglects her children, nine-year-old daughter Jess (Tina Majorino) from a previous marriage, and four-year-old daughter Casey (Mae Whitman), whose father is Michael. After an accident, Alice realizes that she has "hit bottom" and goes into a clinic for rehab. When she returns home, she has kicked her addiction and has become independent and strong, and her perfectionist, controlling husband has trouble adjusting. Michael is used to his wife being weak and helpless, and they end up seeing a marriage counselor to recover from Michael's "co-dependency" on Alice's role as an alcoholic. ~ Michael Betzold, All Movie Guide

In 1932, at the height of the Great Depression, two young people meet and fall in love. Llewellyn Wright (Bob), Frank Lloyd Wright's youngest child, whose adolescence was marked by the public scandals surrounding his father's private life, is struggling to begin a private law practice in Chicago. Elizabeth Kehler (Betty), daughter of a Chicago artist who abandoned the family when she was still in the womb, is working as an intake counselor at the Milwaukee Vocational School. Their fervent correspondence over a 10-month courtship period is witty, sassy and poignant, as they grapple with their passionate feelings and try to create a financially stable marriage in the midst of the 20th century's most serious economic crisis. The couple's daughter, a scholar of French literature, has written an Introduction telling their story before and after the courtship. 35 illustrations, extensive footnotes and an Index illuminate the family and social history behind the letters.
